Brayden's first Easter was very busy and very fun! We started on Saturday by hosting my side of the family over for dinner. We took advantage of the beautiful spring weather. We made lots of yummy food to share with the family and Aunt Louise brought over a wonderful dessert. Right after dinner we enjoyed the Easter egg hunt. My mom and I hid about 140 eggs - stuffed with candy and money (it was really neat that the money eggs included $2 bills and $1 coins). Brayden really enjoyed hunting with his daddy, uncles and cousins to collect the bright eggs.He found mostly candy filled eggs and one $1 coin! I put it in his piggy bank to show him later. After a wonderful evening together with family Brayden went to bed to wait for the Easter Bunny to visit.
On Sunday we woke up early and went to celebrate Easter at mass. After a beautiful mass we went to First Watch for breakfast. Once we got home we showed Brayden his Easter basket from the Easter Bunny. We played together for a while and then he took a long nap. After his nap we then went over Thaddeus and Colleen's house to celebrate with a wonderful Easter dinner. We had a ton of fun and feel blessed to have wonderful family and friends.
