Happy 1st Birthday

Today is Brayden's 1st Birthday! We enjoyed the day together and decided to take Brayden out for his favorite dinner and ice cream too. We enjoyed dinner at Mio's Pizza and ice cream at Newtown Dairy Corner. What a wonderful year this has really been and we really look forward to seeing what the future brings!

Summer Vacation!

We took a 10 day vacation this summer and had two stops: North Myrtle Beach, SC and Topsail Island, NC.

The first part of our vacation was to visit my grandparents (Brayden's great-grandparents). They are lucky to live so close to the ocean in North Myrtle Beach, SC. While there for a few days we went to dinner at Mike's favorite beach restaurant, Ella's Calabash. They have the best hush-puppies...even Brayden was allowed to try them :) Here is a picture of Me, Brayden and Grandma and Grandpa!

After visiting with my grandparents for 3 days we then drove to spend the week with Mike's family at Topsail Island, NC.

We all really enjoyed spending the week with great family and friends. Here are some pictures of Brayden really enjoying the sun and fun!

1st Haircut

Although I really wanted to wait until Brayden was a year old to get his first haircut...we decided that Brayden really needed one sooner. We went to Cookie Cutter's For Kids. Brayden got to sit in a race car and watch a dvd while the stylist cut his hair. He really did well and didn't cry until the very end...and the results is that he looks so cute :)!
