Happy New Year!

We rang in the New Year with our neighbors and friends. Mommy and Daddy only let me stay up a little later than usual but woke me up just to say "Happy New Year" and go back home to bed. Here I am all ready for bed before we head over.

Perfect North Slopes

Mommy, Daddy, G-ma and my uncles took me snow tubing at Perfect North Slopes. I had a blast! Look at me all bundled up. I didn't like the small tubes but I loved riding in the "big boy" tubes!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas!

This year was so much fun! We began by visiting downtown's train display. Then I sat on Santa's lap at Macy's and told him I want a "turtle". We went to Aunt Louise's on Christmas Eve and put out Christmas cookies and milk when we got home. The next morning on Christmas morning mommy made an awesome breakfast and we opened some presents! But we weren't done. we went to mommy's side of the family and got so spoiled with gifts. Then off to Lima for more family fun with daddy's side of the family.

Reading is Fun

We are having a lot of fun during the week and one of the fun activities we enjoy is story time. While one of Brayden's favorite things to talk about and see are books it takes a little "bribery" in the form of snacks to sit during story time.

St. Martin's Day

This year we celebrated St. Martin's Day by participating in the Lantern Walk. We met a group of friends at the Clifton German Language school and walked through a few streets listening to songs and looking at all of the children's beautiful lanterns. It was a really beautiful night.

Happy Halloween

This year Halloween was on a Saturday which added to all of the fun!

Brayden really had fun and made the best "roaming gnome"!

As I have mentioned before Brayden loves to people watch...which made Halloween exactly his style. We all had a really great time visiting the neighbors and after we were done we had a great time passing out candy to the trick-or-treaters!

Florida!

We absolutely love visiting Florida! Michael scheduled a continuing education conference in Tampa...so we tagged along to enjoy the sunshine and the company of my grandma...Brayden's G.G.!

While in Florida we packed in a ton of fun.

We showed G.G. tons of fun at Gymboree...Brayden really enjoyed showing her the songs and fun that we enjoy weekly at home!

We took a drive to Sarasota and visited the Ringling Museum a couple of beautiful beaches and enjoyed dinner at the pier.

Most importantly we really enjoyed the time with my grandma and getting a chance to see her new home!

Goooooo Bearcats!

Today is the University of Cincinnati's Homecoming Football Game. The Bearcats won the "keg of nails" from the University of Louisville.

Brayden braved the cold weather at the tailgating before the game began. Here we are all bundled up ready to cheer on the Bearcats!

During the game he cheered and clapped and danced along to the band. We all had an awesome time!

Getting in the Spirit

I really enjoy the colors, sights and sounds of the Halloween/Harvest season. While at Burger Farm we picked up some decorations to add to the spirit of the season. Here is how We decorated the front porch. Brayden is enjoying pointing out the "pum-pums", birds, gourds and ghosts. He runs to the front window each morning to remind me they are all still there. To also help with the neighborhood decorations, this year we were asked by our neighbors, the White's to decorate a "tombstone" for their yard in the spirit and fun of Halloween. We decided to have a little fun with a play on our name...
Take a look at our spooky tombstone:

Party!

This weekend we were invited to another friend's 1st birthday! Brayden really enjoyed helping Emma celebrate her first birthday. He enjoyed decorating his own cupcake, another hay ride and driving himself around in a jeep. He really had a great time.

Pumpkin Patch

We have been visiting this pumpkin patch for a long time and really enjoy spending time on the hay ride and picking out our pumpkins year after year. Brayden had a really great time riding the big tractor up to the top of the hill and looking through the pumpkin patch for just the right pumpkins.

Rainy Day Fun

Today we were invited to play with some new friends Emilie and Anni at the Children's Museum. They had such a great time playing and entertaining us. Brayden really liked the fruit and vegetable market as well as being able to make some music while I sang the alphabet song.

I was surprised to see that he really didn't care for the sand table.

After playing all morning we enjoyed lunch and headed home for a nap.

This is how I roll...

Brayden had a great time at the skating rink watching all the kids from his uncles Jonathan and Danny's school. His G-ma took him for a few spins around the rink while he watched the lights and listened to the music from the comfort of his buggy. He really had a great time!

Hallo-Fest

We had a great time kicking off fall with the Coney Island Hallo-Fest. We walked through Coney trick-or-treating, on a hay ride, petting zoo and Mike even took his turn at the pumpkin sling-shot (just a few times).

Giddy Up!

This weekend we were invited to Brayden's friend Emilie's 1st birthday party. Emilie's mom and dad also invited some ponies to the party for all the little kids to ride. Brayden took a little while to warm up to them but after I showed him that they were gentle and fun he felt more at ease.
In addition to the ponies the little children also enjoyed riding down the hill in a small radio flyer walker...

Zoo Fun

Here are a few pictures of us having fun at the Cincinnati Zoo feeding the giraffe's during snack time. We offered to have Brayden help us but he thought the crackers were for him. By the way those giraffe's were very hungry...they quickly took the crackers we offered.

It's Skyline Time

Happy 60th Birthday Skyline!
We recently decided to see if Brayden would enjoy another Cincinnati Favorite...Skyline Chili!

He had 1/2 a "Phoney Coney" and a lot of cheese and oyster crackers. I think overall he really enjoys eating out more than anything!

Bike Ride

For Father's Day Brayden and I bought Mike a new bike and since then we finally bought a trailer hitch for the bike rack and a bike trailer for Brayden. We love getting the car loaded up and enjoying a couple of bike trails, our neighborhood and this beautiful weather we are having. Here is Brayden enjoying the great outdoors!

It's a Gymboree Day

We started going to Gymboree 3 days a week and Brayden is really having a great time. He is learning new things and meeting new friends while having so much fun. We sing and dance and laugh while climbing and playing with bumpy balls and going down slides and through the tubes. Some of Brayden's favorite things are the bubbles (which he has learned to say), the air log and
parachute time. He smiles the whole time!
